Is microsuction safe?
It is regarded as the safest method of wax removal available, performed under direct vision by an HCPC-registered audiologist without introducing water to the ear.
Should I use olive oil before my appointment?
A few days of olive oil may soften particularly firm wax, though it is not essential — microsuction manages most wax without preparation.
