THE ESSENTIALS

Everything patients ask us most

Do I need a referral from my GP?

No. We are a private clinic, so you can book directly with us — no GP referral needed.

How do I make an appointment?

Book online via our booking page, or call us on 020 8150 7178. Appointments are available at our Wimbledon, Teddington, Wallington and Addiscombe clinics, or as a home visit.

How much does a hearing test cost?

Our complete hearing assessment is £59, including a full ear examination, pure-tone audiometry and your results explained the same day. It is free for over-65s at Wimbledon, Wallington and Addiscombe with code FREEHT until 31 August 2026. A hearing test at home is £89.

How much does ear wax removal cost?

£60 for one ear in clinic — and both ears for £60 with code 20OFF at Wimbledon, Wallington and Addiscombe until 31 August 2026 (standard both-ears price £80, single-ear pricing applies at Teddington). A home visit for ear wax removal is £139. A £20 consultation fee applies if no wax is found.

Does ear wax microsuction hurt?

No — microsuction is gentle and painless for most people. It uses precise suction, no water, to remove wax safely.

How much do hearing aids cost?

From £798 for a single aid and £1,695 per pair, including fitting with real-ear measurement and 4 years of unlimited aftercare. Every price is published on our price guide.

What should I bring to my appointment?

Just a list of any medications you take and details of any hearing concerns. If you already wear hearing aids, bring them along.

What is included after I buy hearing aids?

4 years of unlimited aftercare: review appointments, cleaning, adjustments and repairs at any of our four clinics — plus a 30-day satisfaction guarantee.

Do you see children?

No — we do not see patients under 16. Paediatric audiology services are best placed to care for younger ears.

Do you do home visits?

Yes — hearing tests at home are £89 and ear wax removal at home is £139, in and around our clinic towns (within about 20 minutes’ drive). A £50 call-out charge applies a little further out.
