What is Dual AI?
Oticon Reveal carries the world’s first Dual AI system — two artificial intelligences working together. Speech AI focuses on the voices around you so speech comes through crystal-clear, while Context AI recognises the surrounding sounds — the buzz, vibe and rhythm of your favourite places — so you stay aware of the world rather than shut off from it. Voices and surroundings stay in harmony, which is why listening feels easier and more natural.
How fast does it charge?
A full day’s hearing from just one hour of charging — and if you’re caught short, 15 minutes on the charger gives you up to four hours of power. (Operating time varies with your hearing loss, sound environment, feature use and battery age.) The charger is included in your per-pair price.
Is it waterproof?
Oticon Reveal is IP68-certified — the highest standard rating for dust and moisture resistance — so humidity, rain showers and dusty days are not a worry. It is not designed for swimming.
What is the difference between Reveal 1, 2 and 3?
All three share the same discreet rechargeable design, Dual AI architecture, colours, IP68 rating and Bluetooth LE streaming. The technology level sets how finely the processing supports you in complex, noisy situations — Reveal 1 is Oticon’s premium level, with 2 and 3 offering progressively simpler processing. The difference shows in background noise: the higher the level, the better voices hold together as places get louder. Take them on trial and let your own week decide.
How does Reveal compare with Oticon Intent?
The Oticon Intent introduced sensors that read your listening intentions from head and body movement. Reveal is Oticon’s newest platform and the first with Dual AI — separating speech from context — plus their best-ever streaming stability and faster charging. How is the Reveal different from Oticon Intent or Real?
Intent (2024) introduced sensors that read your head and body movement; Real (2023) refined natural sound. Reveal is a new chip platform — the Reveal AI — carrying the world’s first Dual AI, and Oticon’s research reports a 60% stronger brain response than Intent, alongside 30% faster and 4× more precise feedback prevention, faster charging and Oticon’s best-ever streaming. What does “60% stronger brain response” actually mean for me?
Oticon’s BrainHearing research measures how much of the sound scene your brain receives and processes with the aids in. A stronger response means your brain is given more of the natural detail it evolved to work with — which in daily life shows up as less strain following conversation and more awareness of what is around you. It is a lab measurement with a real-life translation: many wearers simply say social occasions stop being tiring. The trial is where you find out if that is you.
