Why patients choose the MaX

Built for the noisy moments you actually live in.

Signia Pure Charge and Go MaX pair

Four neural networks, one intelligence

Acoustic Intelligence™ runs four deep neural networks at once — one reads the scene, one controls noise, one tracks your conversation partners and one keeps your own voice natural. They work together in real time, so the aid adapts to the full moment rather than just turning noise down.

Signia MaX in Titanium Grey

Group conversations, handled

RealTime Conversation Enhancement — the technology that made Signia’s name in group settings — now tracks and enhances multiple speakers with greater precision than ever, improving speech understanding exactly where hearing is hardest: the busy table.

Signia MaX in Beige

Your own voice, finally natural

Own Voice Processing keeps your voice sounding like you — even in fast conversation — with no in-clinic training required. It is one of those details you only notice when it’s missing, and a big reason new wearers settle in quickly.

New for 2026 — what actually changed

Pure Charge&Go MaX vs the Signia IX before it

The Pure Charge&Go IX was — and remains — a superb hearing aid. Here is what the new MaX platform changes, using Signia’s own published platform figures. One honest note: these are hardware numbers, not a promise your hearing improves 54-fold — what they buy is four neural networks running simultaneously where one used to.

54× the processing powerSignia reports the MaX chip delivers 54 times more processing power than the IX platform — the headroom that makes four concurrent deep neural networks possible
75% more data per secondMaX processes 75% more data points every second, with twice the memory of IX — more of your sound scene analysed, more often
50% more efficientAll that extra processing while using power more frugally — 50% greater efficiency than IX is where the 30-hour battery and fast charging come from
Same size as the IXDespite the four networks under the bonnet, the MaX housing is no bigger than the Pure Charge&Go IX it follows — more brain, same discreet body
30 minutes = 6–7 hoursCaught short before an evening out? Half an hour in the charger buys a full evening of hearing; a full charge delivers up to 30 hours
IP68 and one-step pairingThe highest dust-and-moisture rating for hearing aids, plus OneConnect: a single pairing covers app, streaming and calls across Bluetooth Classic and LE Audio

What that feels like if your aids are four or five years old

Older hearing aids treat every noisy room the same way: detect noise, turn it down, and hope your conversation survives the process. Wearers know the result — the restaurant where voices go flat and processed, the party where you hear everything except the person opposite, and your own voice booming oddly in your head. MaX attacks each of those separately: one network reads the room, one manages the noise, one locks onto the people you’re actually talking to, and one keeps your own voice sounding like you — with no training session required.

The daily frictions moved on too. The Signia One app handles remote adjustments from our audiologists between visits, a tinnitus relief programme, and even wax-filter reminders. Pairing happens once, not per-app. And where a 2021 aid needed the full night on charge, thirty minutes now rescues an evening. If you are wearing an older Signia — or any aid from that era — the honest test is simple: take a MaX on trial to your noisiest regular table and count how much less you lean in.

Choose your technology level

Which Pure Charge&Go MaX is right for you?

Every MaX runs the same Acoustic Intelligence™ platform, eight colours, up-to-30-hour battery and full connectivity — the level sets how precisely the four neural networks work when listening gets complex. These ratings are our clinical guidance on how each level holds speech together as background noise rises — and every purchase starts with a wear-it-at-home trial, so the improvement is judged in your life, not a showroom.

Who the MaX suits

“I’m always at a busy table”

This is the aid’s home ground — RealTime Conversation Enhancement plus Dynamic Noise Control were built for exactly this. Signia’s campaign line is ‘Time to Live Noisy’ for a reason.

Our pick: MaX 7

“I stream calls, podcasts and TV”

Bluetooth Classic covers today’s devices, LE Audio covers tomorrow’s, and the hardware is Auracast-ready for public venues as the rollout arrives.

Our pick: MaX 5 or 7

“I want invisible, not behind-the-ear”

Consider the Signia Active Mini IX — the world’s smallest ready-to-wear in-the-ear design — or a custom in-canal aid. We fit both and will honestly advise.

“What impresses us clinically about the MaX is that it doesn’t treat noise as one problem. It reads the scene, the noise, the conversation and your own voice separately — and adjusts each one. That is a genuinely different approach, and patients hear the difference at a busy table.”

Pure Charge&Go MaX questions

Your questions, answered

What is Acoustic Intelligence?

It is Signia’s new multi-dimensional AI — four deep neural networks, each trained on a different dimension of sound, working together in real time. Ambient Scene Adaptation reads the type of environment, Dynamic Noise Control works out what the noise is and where it comes from, RealTime Conversation Enhancement tracks the people you’re talking to, and Own Voice Processing keeps your own voice sounding natural. The result is hearing that adapts to the whole moment, not just the noise.

How long does the battery last?

Signia rates the Pure Charge&Go MaX at up to 30 hours per charge. The charger is included in your per-pair price, and portable charging options are available for topping up on the go.

Does it have Bluetooth and Auracast?

Yes — Bluetooth Classic and LE Audio streaming plus a telecoil are built in. Auracast support for shared and public audio is coming via a free firmware update, which Signia has committed to delivering through the Signia app or fitting software by March 2027 — the hardware in your aids is already ready for it.

What is the difference between MaX 3, 5 and 7?

All three run the Acoustic Intelligence platform in the same rechargeable design with the same colours and connectivity. Higher levels apply the four neural networks with finer precision in complex, noisy situations — the 7 is the level we fit most for busy social lives, while the 3 suits quieter routines. The practical difference is noise: as the room gets louder, the higher levels keep conversation clearer for longer. Take them on trial and judge it in your own week.

How does MaX compare with the Pure Charge&Go IX?

The Pure Charge&Go IX remains an excellent hearing aid built around group conversation. MaX is the next platform generation: its four-network Acoustic Intelligence adapts across more dimensions of sound at once, and it adds LE Audio with Auracast readiness. If you’re choosing today, both are available on trial — and we will honestly advise which suits you.

What do the prices include?

Prices are per pair and include the charger, fitting to your prescription by HCPC-registered audiologists, a 4-year warranty and 4 years of unlimited aftercare. MaX 3 is £3,495, MaX 5 £3,695 and MaX 7 £3,895 per pair.

Is the Signia MaX really 54 times more powerful than the IX?

That is Signia’s published platform figure for processing power, alongside 75% more data points per second, twice the memory and 50% better efficiency. We quote it with a caveat we’d rather you hear from us: chip numbers describe the engine, not the journey. What the extra power actually buys is four deep neural networks analysing your scene, noise, conversation and own voice simultaneously — and that is something you judge on trial at a busy table, not on a spec sheet.

Should I upgrade from my Pure Charge&Go IX or older Signia?

If your IX aids are working well, there is no urgency — they remain excellent. If you are three-plus years into older Signia models, or you find group tables still exhausting, the MaX’s four-network approach and LE Audio/Auracast-ready hardware are a genuine generational step. Bring your current aids to your appointment; we will fit the MaX alongside them and send you home on trial to compare like-for-like.
